Issue 01 of Joe Bubble, our new interactive multi-media magazine, is online now. We’ve listened to your comments to upgrade our beta version, which has been online since the end of August. Among the changes you’ll experience are fine-tuned content, greater interactivity and improved loading times. We’ve also aimed to keep the content as current and as completely locally inspired as possible.
Features this issue include a closer look at Rocking the Daisies 2009, with profiles on select performers, and a one-on-one Q&A session between band members and Joe Bubble. All music features include videos, so your experience is lifted beyond the written word and into the realm of visual and auditory delights! Other highlights include a lowdown on the Loerie Awards 2009, Joburg rockers Your Name In Neon, photographer Tracy Dyan Edser, the wayward cartoon animations of Michael Robertson, UK street artist Dalek, enigmatic SA artist Shani Nel, and the mind-blowing Project Natal by Xbox. Of course there are the anticipated regulars, our CD and game reviews, complete with video content to boost the written reviews into a new dimension. Look out for our all-new ‘Wicked and Wack’ page, filled with some of the internet’s most intriguing viewing.
